Yes. Whether you’re at home or in another city, WhosClose helps you spot spontaneous chances to meet nearby friends and also plan ahead by showing when your paths will cross. No matter where you are, overlaps turn into real meetups.
Privacy & Control
Does WhosClose share my exact location?
Never. Friends only see the city you’re in—never your exact spot. If you want to share more, you can do so manually in a direct chat, and it’s always time-limited.
Can I control who sees me?
Yes. WhosClose has three privacy levels: Open, Reserved, and Private. You decide whether all friends, only close friends, or no one sees you. And if you need a break, switch to Private Mode anytime and go completely invisible. Your exact location is never shared automatically.
How do notifications work?
Notifications keep you updated when there’s a chance to meet friends IRL. For now, you control them through your phone’s notification settings. In future updates, we’ll add more in-app options so you can customize them your way.
How can I delete my account and data?
At any time, go to Profile ➝ Settings ➝ Delete Account. Once deleted, your personalized data will be deleted. For details, see our Privacy Policy.

Yes. All core features are free to ensure that connecting people IRL is always at the heart of the experience. Premium options may be added in the future to support development.
